DBS TECHNICIANS

Neurosciences Queensland is an international leader in Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) for movement disorders.  As such, we now have over 1,000 patients with DBS.

As one of our DBS patients, your care is our priority.  To ensure you get the quality care you deserve, we offer services with the most experienced DBS nurses in the industry.

Appointments with the nurse are available to all DBS patients. Your attendance to these appointments allows you to access full assessments, and checks of your device, and ensure your DBS is managed at the highest standard.

We also offer telephone services for our rural patients that are unable to make it into the practice.

​

To ensure you receive the best possible care, we request you book regular appointments with our nurses. To be able to access the nurse services you must have a valid referral and have had an appointment with Professor Silburn in the past 12 months.
