Mark Wyatt

Mark is a highly experienced neuroscientist who has worked exclusively in clinical neurophysiology since 1998.  While Mark specialises in performing nerve conduction studies and assisted in electromyography and quantitative electromyography analysis, he is also experienced in multiple other electrodiagnostic techniques such as electroencephalography, somatosensory evoked potentials, visual evoked potentials, and brainstem auditory evoked potentials. 

 

Mark has a special interest in focal peripheral neuropathies and enjoys developing new study methodologies and protocols in order to further improve diagnostic outcomes in this field. 

 

Mark is also an experienced educator, having trained many neurophysiology scientists and assisted in the neurophysiology training of medical students and advanced neurological trainees.  He presently holds the academic title of Lecturer at The School of Medicine, Griffith University, and is a member of ANSA (Association of Neurophysiology Scientists of Australia).
